About the Clinic
The Sheffield Haematology Clinic has been established by a dedicated Haematology Consultant in order to provide comprehensive medical care for patients with blood disorders requiring diagnosis, monitoring and treatment. By utilising the latest clinical research, as well as established national and international evidence based data we aim to establish a partnership with our patients so that appropriate clinical management decisions can be made together. If you choose to have investigations and treatment at the Sheffield Haematology Clinic you will be provided with information, education and support relevant to your diagnosis so that you can make informed decisions regarding your clinical care. The Sheffield Haematology Clinic is based at the Thornbury Hospital, which is a private hospital in Fulwood, west Sheffield. However, patients who may need bone marrow or stem cell transplantation as part of their management can receive this treatment at The Royal Hallamshire Hospital, in the dedicated Haematology transplantation suite. |
